I wonder if you've ever felt the world shifting beneath your feet, urging you to pause and just take a moment to reflect?

Maybe you’ve noticed I’ve been a bit quiet lately, or perhaps with so much buzzing in your inbox, it slipped by unnoticed. Either way, I want to say thank you for your patience and understanding as I took a necessary pause.

Life has thrown some unexpected changes my way recently, including a personal loss that I’m still grieving and healing from.

But amidst this whirlwind, a deeper transformation has been brewing—a shift in consciousness that’s steering my business towards a more authentic path. This led me to momentarily put ‘Slow, Savour, Serve’ on hold.

When I launched ‘Wild Wonder Wellness’ in July 2021 after leaving my role as a Senior Social Worker, I was driven by a deep desire to help fellow helping professionals avoid burnout and truly savour their lives while making meaningful contributions to the people and communities they serve.

But as I’ve deepened my understanding of trauma and attachment wounds, and explored various healing modalities like Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Internal Family Systems therapy, and now Yoga Nidra, I’ve realised something profound about those who gravitate towards my work: they are often highly sensitive individuals who have experienced some form of early adversities and forced into taking on roles of being a caretaker for others, at the expense of their own well-being.

This realisation resonates deeply with me as I am beginning my own journey to truly embrace my own high sensitivity as a gift—a blessing rather than a burden. This feels like a call to action to pivot my focus towards supporting other sensitives like myself.

As I step into this new chapter, I’m consciously shifting my services to cater more explicitly to highly sensitive individuals, especially those who feel burdened by personal, ancestral and/or cultural wounds that have led to them dimming their inner light.

This change may affect you as a subscriber of ‘Slow, Savour, Serve’. If you’re certain you’re not highly sensitive or not carrying any personal, ancestral or cultural burdens, and choose to unsubscribe, I’ll be sad to see you go but completely understand.

However, if you’re even a tiny bit curious about what it means to be highly sensitive or have always felt a bit different in your sensitivity levels, I’d love for you to stay on this journey with me.

The core themes of slow living, intentionality, purpose, embodied healing and empowerment through Self-leadership will remain but with an enriched focus on those with heightened sensitivity. Hence, you might notice the change in the name to 'The Sensitive's Guide to Savouring Life'.

In this transition, I’ll be reducing the newsletter frequency to every two weeks but enriching them with deeper content in the form of blog posts (and eventually a private podcast for those who prefer listening).

Additionally, I’ll soon be introducing a paid subscription offering weekly insights, including the body-wise practices and journaling prompts as well as a live monthly sensitives' empowerment circle—more details to be shared at the start of 2025!
